✅ Boneless chicken thighs or breast (500g)
✅ Yogurt (plain, ½ cup)
✅ Lemon juice (2 tbsp)
✅ Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
✅ Olive oil (2 tbsp)
✅ Cumin powder (1 tsp)
✅ Coriander powder (1 tsp)
✅ Paprika (1 tsp)
✅ Turmeric (½ tsp)
✅ Cinnamon (¼ tsp)
✅ Salt & black pepper (to taste)
✅ Pita bread or flatbread
✅ Lettuce
✅ Tomato (sliced)
✅ Onion (sliced)
✅ Pickles (optional)
✅ Garlic sauce or tahini sauce

✅ Ground chicken (500g)
✅ Egg (1)
✅ Breadcrumbs (½ cup)
✅ Garlic powder (1 tsp)
✅ Onion powder (1 tsp)
✅ Paprika (1 tsp)
✅ Salt & black pepper (to taste)
✅ Cooking oil (for frying)
✅ Burger buns
✅ Lettuce
✅ Tomato (sliced)
✅ Onion (sliced, optional)
✅ Cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
✅ Mayonnaise
✅ Ketchup
✅ Mustard (optional)


🥙 Chicken Shawarma Recipe

1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken:

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, and all the spices.
  2. Add chicken and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).

2️⃣ Cook the Chicken:

  1. Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.

3️⃣ Assemble the Shawarma:

  1. Warm the pita or flatbread.
  2. Spread garlic sauce or tahini sauce.
  3. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
  4. Place the sliced chicken on top and roll it up.
